I went to school for graphic and interactive design and discovered that I am endlessly curious about why people buy, like, and share things the way they do. Right now, I spend a lot of time on brand development, identity design, and UI/UX all within that same curiosity. Along with my partner Austin Church, I am building and developing Balernum’s creative team, providing art direction, creating identity systems, designing packaging, and, of course, going deeper with digital design.
At Balernum we help owners and founders launch brands, products, and ventures. Many of our clients are e-commerce companies. They hire us to tell their stories and create authentic experiences for their customers.
The word “authenticity” gets thrown around a lot these days, but that’s what we spend a lot of our time thinking about and zeroing in on. What is already true? How can we tighten the focus on that? And how can we actually make people’s lives better?
